Dimapur, July 19 (MExN): Lotha Region, NSCN/GPRN, Chairman K.Vandhan Kyong has appealed to Lotha public that the reminiscence and saluting the sacrifice made by Lotha brother and sister of NSCN (K) comrades cannot be buried beneath the “packages” or “temporary solution”. A press note issued to the media also stated that the following members from Lotha region support NSCN (K) in order to strengthen GPRN in days to come. The members are: Alex Kikon, Benathung, Khyok’s, Zubenthung, Mhonshan, Mhonthung and Chibemo. Moreover, it was stated that all problems and functioning within the Lotha region will be dealt by the office of the Chairman Lotha Region NSCN (K).
“It is interesting to observe in the light of the subsequent events of the Lothas particularly under the banner of NSCN (K). The Lothas were given due recognition and counted by the NSCN (K) government under the leadership of S.S Khaplang in all ranks and files of civil and military as of now, the note stated and further added that henceforth, the Lothas participation in the Naga political movement and the mindset is unchangeable under the same banner since time immemorial. It also said that the Lotha’s did not nor do target any particular tribe or individual, but the sacrifice made by many of Lotha comrades for the Naga national cause is undeniable till now.
