Mokokchung, June 23 (MExN): Mokokchung District Task Force on Immunization (DTFI) meeting was convened on June 23, at Deputy Commissioner's conference room, Mokokchung. The meeting saw deliberation on the challenges face by the DTFI on awareness, strategy to be implemented and suggestions were put to forward to overcome the challenges, stated a DIPR report.
The meeting was chaired by DC Mokokchung, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS. The Chairman emphasised on the important of community involvement in the public health initiative and urged all stakeholders to work in collaboration in order to achieve better health outcome in the district.
Dr Linanaro, DPO RCH & UIP highlighted that the objective and the agenda of the immunization is to vaccinate all the beneficiaries and not a single beneficiary is left out. She informed about the ongoing STOP Diarrhoea campaign which is held in the month of June and July and highlighted the role and responsibilities of all department involved in the campaign.
The Status Report of the DTFI on activities undertaken and the achievements made in the District was presented by Dr Mero, RRT (WHO).
