Mon DC imposes conditions on purchase of essential commodities

Mon, March 29 (MExN):  In view of the current lockdown over COVID-19 pandemic, the Deputy Commissioner of Mon has imposed a limit for the purchase of essential commodities in Mon with effect from March 27.

 

A press release from the DC informed that the maximum permissible quantity per day are as follows:

Rice: 10kg per family

Dal: 1 kg per family

Oil: 1 litre per family

Milk powder: 1kg per family

Sugar: 1 kg per family

Tea leaves: 1 kg per family

 

All the shopkeepers have been asked to strictly comply with the above mentioned regulations. Any person/group in violation of this order shall be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
