Mon, November 29 (MExN): The DAPCU, NRHM, MSF, RRC, CHAI, RNTCP, World Vision India, Youth Department of Local Churches of Mon, Walo organization, Turning Point organization, Shansham organization, YASS organization and Mon Users Network will be observing the World AIDS Day under the theme “Getting to Zero”. DAPCU, Mon District Programme Officer Longyim Tzudir in a press note informed that the programme will be held at 3:00 pm on December 1 at Private Station, Mon with support from NSACS.
Angau I Thou, Deputy Commissioner, Mon has consented to grace the occasion as Guest Speaker. Besides speech by Guest speaker, other key events include PSB (sharing), special no. and prayer, Pledge, Poster and Signature campaign, Mobile ICTC facilities and opening of IEC stall at the venue. There will be special highlights by Toxic Peace, Rasp Band and various Local Artists, Documentary Show and Street Play. The organizers invite the participation of Government officials, defense personnel, Educational institutions, Health care providers, Churches, Civil Societies, and well wishers to come forward to show solidarity towards prevention of HIV epidemic and to create an enabling environment for those who are living with HIV.
