Kohima, December 16 (MExN): On attaining 25 years of its establishment, Northern Angami Catholic Youth Association (NACYA) silver jubilee celebration (1986-2011) began on December 16 at St. Stephen’s Church Riisoma Village with the theme “If anyone loves Me, He will keep My word” (St John 14.23) Rev.
Fr. Jerome Moshary SDB, Parish Priest, Christ King Church unveiled the jubilee monolith at the church premises and later released the jubilee souvenir and memento. Highlights of the inaugural program were the former President(s) of NACYA lighting the Jubilee light, prayer by Kezevi-o Dominic, 1st President, NACYA, presidential address by Ngahetuo Paul, President NACYA, special songs were presented by CYA Rusoma, while Luolhoulie Linus, Convenor, organizing committee, NACYA chaired the function.
Around 600 participants attended the inaugural program. On December 17 there will be Holy Mass, annual meeting, seminar on various topics with Fr. Alex Vizo, Parish priest, SFS Kohima town and Fr. Solomon Vizo , Reactor , Good Shepherd Seminary as the speakers ,followed by Talent night and on December 18 at 10.00 am , Very Rev Fr Neisalhou Carolus Kuotsu, Vicar General Kohima Diocese will preside over the Solemn Eucharistic Celebration.
