Nagaland Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio released a book titled ‘The Divine in the Ordinary’ written by Sentienla P Ezung in Kohima on November 7.
This book is a love letter to the everyday, celebrating the beauty, complexity, motherhood, nature and depth of human experience all from a woman’s perspective, a mother’s thoughts, a Nagas wish all pointing to the undeniable truth that the divine truly resides in the ordinary.
This book is a treasure trove of insights, reflections, accompanied by photographs all taken in Nagaland by photographers from all over the world competing in the annual Hornbill International Photo festival, held at Kisama heritage village.
The author Sentienla Ezung is former Miss Nagaland 2003, a mother to four boys and married to Myingthungo Ababe Ezung, OSD, Transport, Govt of Nagaland.
The book has been translated to Lotha and Ao language.
