DIMAPUR, October 29 (MExN): The Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd. (NHHDC) will organize a State Handloom Expo at Urban Haat in Dimapur from November 11 to November 24.
According to a release from Er Y Lipongse Thongtsar, Managing Director of NHHDC, the event is sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handloom), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
Interested Cooperative Societies, Producer Companies, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Federations, Apex Societies, and Handloom & Handicrafts agencies, including silk weavers, Jute Artisans, and KVIC, are invited to apply for participation.
The last date for the submission of applications is November 7. Applications must be submitted to the Project Cell, NHHDC Ltd, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur, along with a detailed address, mobile number, bank account details with IFSC code, and a photograph of the products to be displayed.
As per the release, all stalls will be provided free of cost, and lump-sum TA/DA and freight charges will be reimbursed as per the prescribed rates of NHDP guidelines.
