Kiphire, November 3 (MExN): The Kiphire district administration has begun preparations for the forthcoming visit of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, scheduled from November 13 to 14. Deputy Commissioner Temsuwati Longkumer convened a coordination meeting at the DC’s Conference Hall here on Monday to finalise arrangements for the two-day visit to the Aspirational District.
The DC instructed all departments to maintain updated data on various government schemes and projects aimed at public welfare. She also emphasised the need for line departments to be ready for presentations and interactions regarding ongoing initiatives. Several committees have been constituted to oversee and implement preparatory activities to ensure a smooth and successful visit.
