DIMAPUR, JANUARY 3 (MExN): The Nagaland State Volleyball Men’s team is set to participate in the 69th Senior National Volleyball Championship 2025, scheduled from January 7 to 13 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The event is organized by the Ad-hoc Committee under the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI).
The Nagaland contingent comprises 14 players, accompanied by two coaches and two team managers. During a send-off program held at the Tourist Lodge, Dimapur, N. Jacob Yanthan, President of the Nagaland Volleyball Association (NVA), encouraged the players and wished them success in the tournament. P. Yanbemo Humtsoe, Technical Secretary of the NVA, provided the team with a detailed briefing on the rules and regulations of the championship.
Dr. Yanbemo Lotha, Pastor of the Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur, dedicated the team with a prayer, invoking blessings for their journey and participation.
On behalf of the NVA, N. Jacob Yanthan expressed gratitude to the Director and staff of the Department of Youth Resources and Sports, Government of Nagaland, for their support in facilitating the team’s participation in the prestigious national event.
