Govt tells departments to ensure strict compliance
Kohima, September 15 (MExN): The Personnel & Administrative Reforms (P&AR) Department, Government of Nagaland has directed all departments to extend full cooperation to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted to investigate the fraudulent drawal of multiple salaries and salary along with Life Pension from more than one source within the State Government by Government employees.
In a circular issued by the Personnel Information Management System Cell of P&AR Department on September 3, 2026, all departments have been directed to accord priority to any requisition, request or communication received from the SIT and furnish the required documents and information accurately, completely and within the stipulated timeframe.
The respective Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and officers in charge of establishment matters in the departments shall coordinate with the SIT and facilitate the timely collection, authentication and transmission of records, the circular said.
They have also been instructed to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and proper custody of all documents and information shared during the course of the investigation.
The Department cautioned that any delay, non-compliance or incomplete submission may adversely affect the investigation process and will be viewed seriously.
Heads of Departments have been requested to “personally ensure strict compliance” with the instructions, it added.
