Kohima, December 28 (MExN): The Nagaland Police will commence document verification for the recruitment of constables from January 2, 2026, at the 4th NAP Battalion Headquarters, Thizama, for candidates from Kohima district.
According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Director General of Police, the scrutiny of documents is being advanced in view of the large number of applicants. The verification will be held ahead of the Physical and Medical Standards Tests (PST), which are scheduled from January 7 to 13, 2026.
Candidates who have applied for the post of constable and have been provisionally accepted for the PST are required to report at the venue by 10:00 am. Only those candidates who have successfully generated their admit cards through the Nagaland Police Recruitment Portal will be allowed to appear for document verification.
Applicants must produce original documents along with self-attested photocopies of proof of educational qualification (Class VIII pass certificate or higher from NBSE or any recognised board), proof of identity (Aadhaar card, PAN card or driving licence), certificate of Indigenous Inhabitant of Nagaland, Scheduled Tribe certificate duly signed by the district authority not below the rank of Additional Deputy Commissioner, and proof of date of birth.
The police cautioned that failure to produce any of the mandatory documents will result in rejection of candidature as per the recruitment advertisement, and no separate individual intimation will be issued.
