Kohima, March 10 (MExN): The Nagaland Wushu Association (NWA) has convened an emergency general body meeting (GBM) to discuss preparations for the Wushu competition at the upcoming Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2026.
According to a notification issued on March 10, the meeting will be held on March 17 at 11 am at the office of the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) in Kohima.
The GBM has been convened with the approval of NWA president Kudecho Khamo, who is also an MLA and Advisor for CAWD and Taxes, Government of Nagaland. The meeting will focus on preparations for organising and conducting the Wushu events during the state-level games scheduled to begin from April 7.
All affiliated unit presidents and general secretaries have been requested to attend the meeting. In case they are unable to be present, they may depute another official with technical knowledge of Wushu and familiarity with the functioning of the association to represent them.
The association has urged all concerned officials to attend the meeting to ensure smooth preparation and coordination for the Wushu events at the forthcoming games.
