Dimapur, July 19 (MExN): The government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions (Department of Personnel & Training) have appointed N. Hangsing, a member of Nagaland Civil Service to the Indian Administrative Service w.e.f 28.06.2011, vide notification no 14015/16/2010-AIS-(I)-B. This was informed in a notification issued by Chief Secretary to the government of Nagaland, Lalthara. The note also mentioned that the above appointment has been made under sub-rule(1) of Rule 8 of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1945 read with sub-regulation (1) of Regulation 9 of the Indian Administrative Service (appointment by Promotion) 1954. The officer, on probation has been allocated to the IAS Cadre of Nagaland, under sub-rule (1) of Rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules 1954. It was also mentioned that the officer’s year of allotment/seniority will be communicated subsequently.
