Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): The selected candidates for appearing UGC- NET Examination, who opted Nagaland University, Center No. 64 has been informed that the venue of test will be the Jubilee Memorial School, Mokokchung Town located at Salangtem Ward in Mokokchung.
The date of Examination and time will remain the same as fixed by UGC i.e. on 26th June (Sunday) 2011 and time scheduled will be as follows: Paper I and Paper II are to be held in the forenoon session from 9:30 am to 10:45 am and 10:45 am to 12.00 noon respectively and for Paper III in the afternoon session from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Admission card indicating the venue of the test with a copy of instructions for filling up the OMR/response sheet and specimen copy of OMR sheet has already been dispatched to all the selected candidates, informed a press note issued by Prof. A. Lanunungsang, Co-ordinator, UGC- NET Exams Center No. 64, Nagaland University.
It mentioned that list of selected candidates including rejected candidates indicating reasons for rejection will be found in NU Website. No candidate will be allowed to enter into Exam Hall who fails to produce Admission Card as per UGC rules. Outstation candidates needing accommodation will have to make their own arrangement. They may also contact directly in advance to the Hostel Proprietors located nearby Jubilee Memorial School who can provide fooding & lodging facilities. Their contact mobile numbers are given below.
The note also added that Mokokchung is well connected by road and therefore, outstation candidates can reach Mokokchung conveniently by NST/Private Buses/Taxi services directly from any part of the State of Nagaland. Buses/Taxi services are available in Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha, Zunheboto, Tuensang, Mariani and Jorhat etc leading to Mokokchung town. Students from nearby districts/places can go back on the same day after the test is over or on June 27, morning or evening. Taxi services from station to venue of Test/hostel will be available.
