Dimapur, November 6 (MExN): The Board of Management and team will officially announce the launching of an English Daily Local Newspaper “THE HORNBILL EXPRESS” on this day the 7thNovember, 2011(Monday) at Senapati District H/Q.
Peter Adani, Chairman, Managing Board ‘The Hornbill Express’ Senapati in a press release stated that ‘The Hornbill Express’ is intended as an English Local Daily based at Senapati (Tahamzam) and it is aimed at bringing about a paradigm shift in making the print media a vigorous source of change in our society.
It was also stated that ‘The Hornbill Express’ understands that its strength lies in active engagement with the PEOPLE. The people are the inspiration to ‘The Hornbill Express’ and that the people are its guardians. ‘The Hornbill Express’ will dedicate itself to the full service of the people. ‘The Hornbill Express’ believes that its mission for truth, justice and peaceful coexistence would be brought to fruition.
The Hornbill Express will carry special news reports, feature articles and analysis on Human Rights and Dignity, Rural Poverty, Livelihood and Health Issues, Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Environment, Youth and Society/HIV AIDS, Economy and Entrepreneurship, Reliable Energy and Innovative Technology, Culture and Tradition, Sports and Entertainment among others. It commits itself in its entire endeavor to promote human freedom, human values and overall human security that will ultimately result in human dignity, security and peaceful coexistence.
