NF Railway BDU meeting held in Tuli

Maligaon, January 16 (MExN): A Business Development Unit (BDU) meeting was conducted by officials of NF Railway with Merchants of Stone Crusher Centre & Coal Loading Parties of Tuli area at Nagaland on December 20, 2023.

The meeting aims to increase the loading of various goods from Tuli. The merchants of Tuli are hopeful of loading at least 30 mini rakes from Tuli in last quarter of this financial year, Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR stated in a press release. 

To improve customer interface and augment freight revenue, Mirza station under Rangiya division has been opened for handling of inward automobile traffic (only two-wheeler) w.e.f. December 4, 2023. Indian Custom Yard station under the Jogbani-Biratnagar international connectivity project with Nepal in Katihar division has been opened for handling of container traffic for Chassis Stuffing/de-stuffing and Lift off-Lift on operation w.e.f. December 22, 2023. 

Also, a mini rake was loaded for the first time from Ditokcherra to Bishramganj which has generated revenue worth Rs 9.50 lakh. Such 40 mini rakes are also planned to be loaded from Ditokcherra to New Harangajao till the end of the current financial year.
