KOHIMA, MAY 28 (MExN): The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) has announced the season dates and transfer window for the 2025–26 football season, as per directives from the All India Football Federation (AIFF).
The announcement was made following AIFF’s Circular No. 20 (Ref. No. AIFF/PSD/2025/396), dated May 19, 2025. The upcoming season will run from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026, for all categories — men, women and amateur players.
The first registration period (transfer window) will open from June 12 to August 31, 2025, while the second window is scheduled from January 1 to January 31, 2026.
The NFA has urged all District Football Associations (DFAs), clubs, academies, officials, and players to take note of the timelines and ensure timely compliance. More than just dates, the announcement sets the tone for yet another spirited and competitive football season in Nagaland.
The NFA wished all stakeholders the very best for the new football season and looked forward to working together towards witnessing another successful football season for Nagaland football.
