Kohima, January 11 (MExN): The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) has declared the results of its election for office bearers for the tenure 2025-2029. The election, held under the supervision of Returning Officer T. Meren Paul, saw several candidates elected unopposed.
The newly elected team includes K. Neibou Sekhose as the President and Kiyeka S. Sumi as the Senior Vice President, both of whom were elected unopposed. The two Vice Presidents elected are Mughato Aye and Meyisanger Lemtur.
Benei M. Lamthiu was elected unopposed as Secretary, and three Joint Secretaries—Imli Sunup, Shahoto Yimchunger, and Chenonlo Woch—were also elected unopposed. Roko Angami will serve as Treasurer, having also been elected without contest.
The election process was overseen by T. Meren Paul, who serves as the Senior Vice President of the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA), alongside Assistant Returning Officer Neivikuolie Khatsu and observer Jaked V. Chase from the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland.
