Maligaon, June 26 (MExN): In view of damages caused to railway tracks due to flood induced breaches at Jatinga Lumpur – New Harangajao, Bandarkhal – Ditokcherra, other locations in Lumding - Badarpur and Chaparmukh - Senchoa section of Lumding division of Assam, several trains have been cancelled/short terminated/short originated.
According to a press release from the NFR on Sunday, the cancelled trains included: 05504 Mairabari – Guwahati passenger; 07530 Silghat Town – Guwahati DEMU and 15418 Silghat Town – Alipurduar Rajya Rani Express of June 27; 12504 Agartala – Bangalore Cant. Express, 15626 Agartala - Deoghar Express and 15641 Silchar – New Tinsukia Express on July 2 and 9; 15642 New Tinsukia -Silchar Express on July 3 and 10; 14620 Firozpur Cant. - Agartala Express, 15625 Deoghar - Agartala Express and 20501 Agartala – Anand Vihar Terminal Tejas Express on July 4 and 11; 12503 Bangalore Cant. - Agartala Express on July 5 and 12; 20502 Anand Vihar Terminal - Agartala Tejas Express on July 6 and 13; 14619 Agartala – Firozpur Cant. Express, 14038 New Delhi - Silchar Express on July 7 and 14; 14037 Silchar – New Delhi Express on July 11 and 18; 15615/15616 Guwahati – Silchar - Guwhati Express of July 1 to 15; 15611 Guwahati - Silchar Express of July 2, 4, 7, 9, 11 and 14; and 15612 Silchar - Guwahati Express of July 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, and 15; 15888/15887 Guwahati – Badarpur - Guwahati Tourist Express of July 2, 6, 9 and 13.
The list of short termination/Short origination of trains included the 13173 Sealdah - Agartala Express of June 30 and July 3 to 15 which will be short terminated at Lumding and will remain partially cancelled between Lumding and Agartala as well as the 13174 Agartala - Sealdah Express of July 2 to 14 which will be short originated from Lumding and will remain partially cancelled between Agartala and Lumding.
Other short terminated trains are 13175 Sealdah - Silchar Express from June 29 to July 13, 13176 Silchar - Sealdah Express from July 1 to 15, both of which will be short terminated at Lumding and will remain partially cancelled between Lumding and Silchar.
Similarly, the 12515 Coimbatore - Silchar Express of July 3 and 10 and 12516 Silchar - Coimbatore Express of July 5 and 12, 12507 Thiruvananthapuram - Silchar Express of July 5 and 12, and the 12508 Silchar – Thiruvananthapuram Express of July 7 and 14 will be short terminated/short originated at Guwahati and remain cancelled between Silchar and Guwahati, the NFR informed.
