NJCF invites churches across NE to join Franklin Graham crusade

KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 12 (MExN): The Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) has issued a letter to the Denomination Heads of Kohima, Dimapur and the North East India region regarding the upcoming visit of Rev Dr Franklin Graham, scheduled for November 30 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.

In the letter addressed to church leaders and pastors, NJCF described the event as a “momentous occasion” to once again host the eldest son of the late Dr Billy Graham, 53 years after his father’s historic visit to Nagaland.

“Many from the older generation will remember the impact of Dr Billy Graham, who held an unforgettable crusade in 1972 that ignited the second wave of revival in our land. We pray that God will ignite the same fire of revival not only in Nagaland but across our region and the nation,” the letter stated.

The NJCF urged all churches to widely publicize the event within their congregations and encourage believers to volunteer and participate in what it described as a “one-time mega gathering of Christians of our generation.”

The forum also invited neighbouring states to join in the spiritual revival, urging congregations to attend the crusade as part of a collective awakening of faith.

“We look forward to welcoming and celebrating our faith together through worship and listening to the Word being preached to us. May we show our unity so that the world will know that we are one and are His disciples,” the statement added.
