Northeast Advenduro Nagaland Edition-X 2026 concludes

After covering about 1500 km across the state in five days motorcycle expedition, the Northeast Advenduro Nagaland Edition-X 2026 was flagged-in today at TRAP Cars & Bike, Kohima.

This motorcycle expedition, was initiated by Nagaland Adventure Club (NAC) and Gorilla Moto with the support from Tourism Department of Nagaland and other well wishers.

Gracing the flagging- in programme, Kethosituo Sekhose, Director, Youth Resource & Sports appreciated the NAC for collaborating with others and concluding the event with every participants returning safely.

He shared that Adventure a sport is one discipline which the department firmly believe can take the state forward in terms of sports tourism, and tourism in general will be a catalyst for Nagaland and North East.

Talking about Viksit Bharat, he said that even Nagaland state has come up with Viksit Nagaland 2047, in which the state is aiming to have its athletes participate in various international arenas particularly in the Asian games and Olympics.

He maintained that Nagas are still at an early stage as long as sports are concerned.

He further encouraged the NAC to organise more such events in future and even take it to competitive level and create a space for ourselves.

Col Manoj Kumar Sankhyan, Commandant, 13th Assam Rifles, Kohima, also complimented the organisers and participants for making the initiative of adventure and endurance a grand success.

He hoped that the Advenduro will grow and he assured to support them even in the days to come.

The Northeast Advenduro Nagaland Edition-X 2026 brought together seasoned adventure motorcyclists from across the Northeast and other parts of the country and undertook a challenging journey through rugged terrains, remote villages and interior districts of the state.

Ten riders from Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Manipur joined this motorcycle expedition.

Earlier, Fr Innocent Panmei, Sdb, Principal, Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Kohima invoked God’s blessings while Vetholu Rhakho presented a special number.

Vote of thanks was proposed by NAC president Burakum Ao.

Advenduro Northeast Nagaland Edition-X aims to promote adventure tourism, foster youth participation, and showcase Nagaland as a premier destination for motorcycling and outdoor sports.
