Dimapur, March 8 (MExN): An inspection from Nagaland University was conducted at MGM College, Dimapur on March 8. The inspection team was headed by Prof Dr H John Sema, Dean, School of Social Sciences, (NU, Lumami Campus) and Dr Lemtila Ao and Dr Khotele Khiya of English and Education Departments (NU, Kohima Campus) respectively.
The various facilities and infrastructure of the college including the library was inspected by the inspection team, guided by the college Principal Rev Fr Dr PS Varghese, a press release issued by the MGM College stated.
This was followed by an interactive session of the inspection team with the Principal and the faculty of MGM College, where Prof H John Sema, advised the teachers to focus on the Quality aspect of teaching. He also emphasised on the need of the teachers to widen their knowledge through voracious readings and publication of research papers. Dr Khotele Khiya and Dr Lemtila Ao also focused on prioritizing of the Constructive Approach of Education over the Behaviourist Approach.
