Kohima, May 21 (MExN): The Nagaland University Students’ Union Kohima Campus (NUSU-KC), Meriema held its 18th cultural fest at RCEMPA hall, Jotsoma on May 17.
MLA, Mmhonlumo Kikon National Spokesperson BJP Advisor IT&C, Science & Technology, New & Renewable Energy Government of Nagaland graced the event as the special guest. In his speech, the MLA challenged the students “on how to build a fair and better Nagaland for all to live, thrive and survive.”
The invited speaker, Thungchibemo Ezung, Founder & Managing Director, Pipo Jewellery/NHJE shared his insights on the topic ‘inclusive approach with culture.’
The programme was chaired by Vane Domeh and welcome note was given by Pongsu K Issac, GS NUSU-KC while Limre Tikhir and Arenchenla Walling enlightened the event with their performance.
Students from other departments of the University also presented folk dance and song in the informal session highlighting the beautiful culture and traditions of the Nagas.
