Imphal, October 19 (NNN): A small group of concerned citizens launched a body called ‘People’s Campaign for 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly election 2012: Deciding Our Destiny, Manipur Chapter’ in the state on Tuesday. It was stated that the body was launched with an aim to make the political class accountable to the people and to deliberate, develop and disseminate informed and purposeful understanding on issues of public importance in the light of the forthcoming Assembly elections in Manipur in 2012.
The group also took oath of allegiance to initiate the campaign in the state.
