Peren, July 27 (MExN): Peren District Task Force & JAC on COVID-19 has resolved to issue another stringent order in regard to funeral service/last rite and social related gatherings through village and town level.
This was resolved during the joint meeting of the Peren District Task Force & JAC on COVID-19 held to discuss matters related to COVID-19 in the district at Conference Hall, District Headquarter Peren on July 27.
The board, during the meeting held under the Chairmanship of DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS who is also the chairman of Peren DTF, decided to adopt strict directives and advisories for those entering the district from other districts of Nagaland as well as from other states in order to prevent community transmission in the district.
With regard to the entry and exit, the house asked the medical team and police personnel manning the check gate of Heningkunglwa and Mhainamtsi to maintain a proper record of the movement of people.
Discussion was also held to re-activate Village Health Care and Sanitation Committee as well as to disseminate information related to COVID-19.
