Minister for H&FW Azo Nienu with others after inaugurating the newly constructed Phek Town Market Complex.
Phek|November 21 : Minister for Health & Family Welfare, government of Nagaland, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu today asserted that the concept of creating good developmental project should dwell in the mindset of the people. He also stated that there should be no rooms for negative criticisms in the society in order to boost the economy.
The Minister while addressing the public gathering at Phek Town Council (PTC) complex on November 21, 2011 after inaugurating the newly constructed Phek Town Market Complex at Bethany-II colony and PTC Guest House, stressed on the importance of maintaining civic sense in the town. Urging upon the people of the town and the neighbouring villages to keep Phek Town clean, he said, ‘this is the responsibilities of the entire denizens’.
Nienu while lamenting the attitude of people creating inconveniences for the smooth flow of developments in and around the town, he further urged the people to build a good relationship with the contractors whoever came for any kind of developmental works.
Expressing his happiness over the successful completion of Phek Town Market complex and PTC guest house, Nienu disclosed, ‘a new assets meant for the welfare of the community has added to our town’ and urged the people of the town and the neighbouring villages to make best use of it.
Touching the issues of electoral roll and ongoing biometric, the health Minister said, it is the responsibility of every citizens to genuinely consider these two things as one of the lifetime importance in lives. Urging upon the people gather to disseminates the very information to other fellow friends, he said, everyone whether settle in any parts of the states/ country should come down to their villages and towns to register themselves both in electoral roll and ongoing biometric.
The health Minister was of the view that the golden Jubilee celebration of Phek Township scheduled by 2023, it is a high time for every individual to change their living attitude from high to humble, respecting the civic sense of living, opting hospitality character in lives and also keeping themselves committed to God should be the priority of town dwellers.
Under the initiative of Health Minister, a new Dipper Truck was owned by PTC, meeting the needs of the town dwellers and making the town more beautiful. The, Executive officer PTC & ADC Phek Z.Nyusietho Nyuthe chaired the formal function, Dedication prayer was invokes by Rev.DN.Soho, Pastor PTBC, welcome note was tendered by Chief Advisor PTC, K.Shevotso Rhakho and vote of thanks was proposed by PTC Advisor Vehuta Rhakho.
