The District Administration of Wokha under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, in collaboration with the ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland Centre and ICAR-KVK, Wokha organised a one-day workshop on Agripreneurship at Bhandari Town Hall on May 16. The purpose of the event is to promote agricultural entrepreneurship among the youth.
Longdiba Sangtam, NCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Bhandari, extended welcome to the attendees and expressed gratitude to the resource persons from various departments for their contributions.
Experts including Dr Aabon W Yanthan Scientist (Horticulture Vegetable Science) and Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) Centre Incharge Nagaland, Moaakum Pongen, ICAR-KVK, Wokha, Anuranjan Singh, Project Manager at Shishoi Oshom-ETF Cell, Wokha and Achio Kikon, District Manager, CSC shared their insights on horticulture, vegetable science, agri-business incubation, and project management.

Representatives from the Horticulture and Agriculture Departments also participated in the sessions, sharing their expertise and guidance to the participants. The workshop witnessed the participation of 50 young individuals from the Bhandari area.
The participants were highlighted on various topics such as valuable insights into sustainable agricultural practices, business management, and community welfare.
