Preparation for PWA 44th wrestling tournament at Phek village
Kohima, January 4 (MExN): The Phek Wrestling Association (PWA) is all set to conduct its 44th wrestling tournament at Phek village on January 7 under the theme “Envisioning unity & oneness.”
MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu will be the inaugural guest while Vezuhii Keyho, president Chakhesang Wrestling Association will be the valedictory guest.
The champion will fetch a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 sponsored by Joseph Thongliu, deputy commandant 5th NAP Phek.
The 2nd, 3rd and 4th prize at Rs. 20,000, Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 is sponsored by Hekaito Assumi, SDO Power Phek, Zachizo Venuh deputy director IPR and Niiciitso Nakro, contractor respectively.
Under B Team category, the champion will receive Rs. 11,000 sponsored by Vekhonieyi Venuh, president Phek District Voluntary Consumer Organization.
The 2nd, 3rd and 4th prize at Rs. 8000, Rs. 6000 and Rs. 4000 is sponsored by Er. Ritso Khutso, contractor, Vilie Nakro contractor and Phek Farmers Club respectively.
