KOHIMA, DECEMBER 17 (MExN): The Pholami Youth Organization (PYO) 58th Games and Sports Meet 2024 was inaugurated by Nuzota Swuro, Chairman of Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency as special guest on December 17. Er Vehuvo Nakro, SDO PWD, Industries and Commerce graced the occasion as the guest of honour.
In his address, Nuzota Swuro lauded the village for preserving the rich culture and traditions. He also highlighted the importance of peace and unity in our society to progress in today’s world. He emphasised on the importance of physical and mental health among the youths and encouraged them to be humble before God and remain obedient to moral values to be good sportspersons.
He also congratulated Tsuveto Resuh (Senior Category) and Mulukhro Nakro (Junior Category) for winning gold medals in National Belt Wrestling. The inaugural session was chaired by Huto Nakro, presidential address was delivered by Vekrohu Nakro and greetings by President, Runguzumi Youth Organization.
