
Maligaon, January 9 (MExN): The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) of Indian Railways has announced recruitment for various ministerial and isolated category posts.
Applications are now open, and eligible candidates can apply for 1,036 vacancies until February 6 online at www.rrbapply.gov.in, informed by the Northeast Frontier Railway in a press release.
The recruitment process for RRB ministerial and isolated categories offers positions such as Post Graduate Teachers, Scientific Supervisor, Trained Graduate Teachers, Chief Law Assistant, Public Prosecutor, Physical Training Instructor, Scientific Assistant, Junior Translator, Senior Publicity Inspector, Staff & Welfare Inspector, Librarian, Music Teacher, Primary Railway Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Laboratory Assistant, and Lab Assistant Grade III.
Applicants must have completed their 12th grade, graduation, or post-graduation, depending on the requirements of the posts, and must be at least 18 years old. The maximum age limit varies based on the specific post, with the upper limit being 48 years.
The recruitment process includes a single-stage Computer-Based Test (CBT), followed by a Skill Test depending on the specific post. All eligible candidates will need to undergo these selection tests, which will be conducted in different cities across the country.
As per the release, Indian Railways remains committed to its mission of empowering the nation’s youth through job creation, having recruited around 5 lakh employees between 2014-2024, signifying a 25% increase compared to the previous decade.
The railway administration urges eligible candidates to be cautious of job rackets, brokers, and middlemen, and to avoid falling into any kind of trap, it added.
