Ranji Trophy: Bihar lead Nagaland by 78 runs on day 2

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 20 (MExN): Bihar led Nagaland by 78 runs as bad light stopped play on day two of their Ranji Trophy match at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima on January 20. 

 


Nagaland were bowled out for 166 runs in 63.5 overs with Imliwati being the highest run scorer with 41 runs. 
Bihar meanwhile were at 244 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 64 overs at the end of day 2’s play. 

 


SS Mundhe had taken 2 wickets for Nagaland, followed by a wicket each for Nagaho, Imliwati and Hopongkyu. 
In the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy, at James Long Stadium, Kolkata, Nagaland defeated Manipur by 205 runs.
Meanwhile at Vizag, the Nagaland U-23 men’s team is playing against Mizoram in a league match of the CK Nayudu Trophy from January 21 to 24.

 


The Nagaland Women’s U-23 team is also leaving for Orrissa on January 22 for the plate group of the U-23 women’s tournament from January 24 to February 13.
