DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 18 (MExN): Manipur trailed Nagaland by 200 runs on day 2 of the ongoing Ranji Trophy test match against Nagaland at Videocon Ground, Kolkata on December 18.
Manipur had won the toss on day 1 and elected to bat first managing to score 116 before being bowled out in 50.1 overs
Nagaland’s second innings was marked by an impressive batting performance with the team scoring 400 runs before being bowled out in 95.2 overs.
SS Mundhe was Nagaland’s highest scorer with 148 runs , followed by Jonathan with 79 runs. Imliwati and Tahmeed also contributed with 52 runs and 42 runs respectively.
By stumps of day, Manipur were at 84 runs having lost 3 wickets in 31 overs. The three wickets for Nagaland were picked up by Stuart Binny, Imliwati and Jonathan.
