Zeliangrong Baudi calls consultative meet on Dec 9

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 4 (MExN): The Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland in a press statement made available today by its General Secretary, Azeu Namcyn Hau stated that it would convene a Consultative Meeting with the Zeliang People Organisation (ZLPO), Zeliangrong Mipui Organisation (ZMO), Zeliangrong Students Union (ZSUN), Zeme Council, Liangmai Council, Rongmei Council, Peren District Village Chairmen Union (VCU), Peren District VDB Union and Public leaders.
The Meeting would be held on the 9th of December at Baudi Building, Jalukie Town at 11am. Each Village has been asked to kindly send 2 Delegates each from their respective village namely; Village Chairman and VDB Secretary along with important Agendas pertaining to the Zeliangrong people.

NCF Chennai alumni meet

As sequel to the Naga Christian Fellowship (NCF), Chennai silver jubilee celebration in 2010, NCF is organizing its Almuni meet 2011 in Dimapur. The objective of the meet is to provide a platform for a memorable reunion of the alumni and to establish a network with former members. Training on Piggery Management held

Dimapur, December 4 (MExN): One day training on Piggery Management was held on November 24 at FIAC Office Dhansiripar village by ATMA Dimapur as per the interest and request from the farmers of Dhansiripar Block.
Hovuto Zhimomi SDO (Soil) & BTT Convenor Dhansiripar Block chaired the programme. Invocation prayer was pronounced by Amongla; keynote address was delivered by Kunoto Chishi, BTM(Niuland) and vote of thanks by Sentinaro, BTM (Dhansiripar)..
The resource person for the training was Dr. E. Kapfoh ,VAS & BTT member Dhansiripar  block. He stressed on the advantages of Pig Farming, Management Practices, feeding and control of diseases.
And again on November 25, training on Rabbit Rearing was conducted at FIAC Office, Dhansiripar. In the technical session, resource person was Dr.E. Kapfoh ,VAS & BTT member Dhansiripar  block. He attributed on the advantages of rabbit rearing, breeds, feeding, housing and common diseases. Altogether 40 members from different villages of Dhansiripar Block, BTT and AES members participated in the training programme. 

Friendship is a must for dev: Neiba

Friendship and good relationship amongst the people is an important ingredient for development in the society, said Neiba Kronu, Deputy Chairman, State Planning Board.
People must love one another and not confine themselves into small grouping not confine themselves into small grouping but be broad minded, Kronu said while addressing Zapami Pfutsero Town 50th anniversary celebration held at Pfutsero Town Hall on Saturday under the theme “Celebrate God’s faithfulness”.
Reminding that Pfutsero is a God gifted town with scenic beauty and called upon the people for cooperation and to join hand to further develop and beautify the town. At the same time, he also stressed on the need for economic development which requires more sincerity and dedication by the people.
Furthermore, the Deputy Chairman SPB also stressed on the need to equip the children with proper education to compete with the rest of the people in the modern fast changing world. In this regard, he reminded that computer knowledge is an essential element to venture out and expose oneself to the outside world.

Manipur sitting MLA passes away

Imphal, December 4 (NNN):
Manipur sitting MLA Dr H Borajao passed away today in a hospital in Imphal. He was 67. Dr H Borajao hailed from CPI died early today at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) hospital. According to family members of the deceased, the MLA e was rushed to JNIMS on Saturday evening following a complaint of breathing problem. It is worth noting that in the present 9th Manipur Legislative Assembly so far six sitting MLAs have passed away. Other sitting MLAs who passed away were Mairenbam Munindro, Elangbam Kunjeshwor, Dr Sapam Budhichandra (sitting speaker), Elangbam Suraj (elected in the by-election after his father Kunjeshwor) and Wungnaoshung Keishing. Meanwhile, Manipur chief minister O Ibobi Singh, member of Lok Sabha Dr T Meinya, Speaker of Manipur Assembly, Agriculture minister Ph Parijat were among others who visited the official quarter of late H Borajaoat Bapbupara on learning that the MLA had passed away. In his condolence message O Ibobi Singh said H Borajao was a man of integrity.
