Dimapur, April 14 (MExN): The Zunheboto Range Students’ Union has organized a career guidance seminar on April 15, 9:00am at town hall, Zunheboto. A pres note informed that the parliamentary secretary for Industries and Commerce will grace the occasion as chief guest. The resource persons are Dr Akaho, MBBS, MD general medical, Mito Z Yepthomi, JAA treasurer, Sasuli A Chishi, supervisor (NPSC) Social Welfare and Khewoto Yepthomi, associate pastor (SBAZ). Students above class 10 are directed to attend the seminar without fail.

Dimapur, April 14 (MExN): Phom Lungvang Pangthai has requested the Phom gazetted officers, public leaders, retired government officers and leaders of Phom NGOs to attend its 2nd general session on April 15, 10:00 am at Lempong Hall, Longleng town. S Pangyu Phom, parliamentary secretary for RD & REPA and P Dako Phom, parliamentary secretary for Transport & Mechanical Engineering will be the chief guest and guest of honour., informed a press note.
NNC reaffirms
Dimapur, April 14 (MExN): The NNC has stated that its meeting held on April 9 in the Lotha Region had reaffirmed the leaderships of Dr. senka Yaden (President), gen.(retd) I. Panger Walling (working President) and V. Nagi (General Secretary) of NNC. A pres note issued by president of Lotha Regional Council Rabenthung lotha, vice president of Lotha Regional Council Yelow Lotha, general secretary of Lotha Regional Council Nziithiing Lotha, 4. CEC member Tebenthung Lotha and president of Lotha Regional Women Federation NNC Tanchano Patton stated that the resolution was adopted in the house by the majority strength of NNC and it “will stand strong and firm in this matter in the interest of the Naga People and the NNC.” “..nobody can condemn or expel the leaderships of NNC . This will remain intact for the larger interest of the people and the other National political Groups in the Homeland,” the note said.
Treasury Office Longleng informs
Dimapur, April 14 (MExN): All the pensioners (both live and family) drawing pension from the Treasury Office, Longleng are informed that physical verification shall be held from May 4 to 10 at the Treasury Office, Longleng during the normal office hour. Therefore, all the pensioners are requested to appear for the same without fail. This was informed in a circular issued by Taka Chang, Sub-Treasury Officer, Longleng.
Conduct free and fair interview: NSUI
Dimapur, April 14 (MExN): The National Student Union of India Phek has stated that the interview for teachers on April 15 should be conducted in a free and fair manner without any political interference or pressure. “…since 2009 many have retired from various posts under different departments including teaching staff however, the departments have not come out openly with exact numbers nor have the vacancies been advertised. Until and unless the recruitment process and interviews are conducted without any pressure, there will be no bogus teachers in the near future,” stated the NSUI in a press note issued by its president Jacob Mero.
