Tuli, August 29 (MExN): Rajeshwari Karuna (RK) School, Tuli celebrated National Sports Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand who had earned the moniker ‘Wizard of Hockey.’
The RK School sports club organised the event to acknowledge and nurture the value of sports and physical activity among the students. An array of sports activities including volleyball, football, kabaddi, running race, musical chairs, and numerous activities were performed by each house-wise, a press release received here stated.
The School PE Teacher enlightened the students on the purpose of celebrating National Sports Day.
‘The school students and teachers participated with all their physical might and teamwork. The event served as a reminder of the importance of sports in promoting a healthy lifestyle, discipline, and national pride, weaving the tapestry of a healthier, more united, and more vibrant nation,’ the release stated.
