Dimapur, December 12(MExN): The Sports Authority of India, sports training centre, Dimapur shall be conducting a selection trial/ test for induction of players for the year 2012 in the discipline of Football, Sepaktakraw, Taekwondo, Wushu. The selection trial will be held at Government Higher Secondary School ground/SAI Ground United Coloby (Half Nagarjan) Dimapur on January 16 & 17, 2012. Stating this in a press release, CH.Naba Singh, Center Incharge, Sai, STC, Dimapur said that the age criteria for induction in Football would be age between 12 yrs -13 yrs, Sepaktakraw age between 12 yrs -16 yrs, Taekwondo age between 12 yrs -16 yrs, Wushu 12 yrs -16 yrs.
The press note also stated that all the participating players for the trial selection test should bring their school reading certificates and age proof certificates from their school in original, duly signed by the Principal/ Headmaster along with 2 (two) nos of passport size photograph. Players without age proof and reading certificate will not be entertained.
It was also stated that all the players should report to SAI,STC,Dimapur at 7:30 am on the day of selection test. Application forms for trial selection can be collected from the center during the office hour from December 13, 2011 onwards and the last date for submission will be on January
14, 2011.
