Kohima, December 2 (MExN): Sanitation drive was conducted at Senapati town by the “We Ain’t Less Than Others” (WALTO) Club Senapati on December 1morning.
Around 30 members turned up and cleaned public urinals, drainage system, pick up papers, plastics etc at main bazaar and around. WALTO club was a non-profit organization formed recently consisting of church youth and students’ community by volunteer themselves. The club has requested to all the citizens of the town to maintain cleanliness and also to all the shopkeepers to possess their own bust bin. The club said this sanitation drive was to create awareness to the general public and to show their cooperation to the town committee. Ng. Joseph Sha the in-charge of the club expressed thanks on behalf of the club to the Karong- Senapati Town Committee and Fire Brigade Service Senapati for their cooperation.
