Sazolie College undertakes Street play on HIV & STI awareness on September 17.
Kohima, September 18 (MExN): In alignment with the Intensified IEC Campaign, the Red Ribbon Club of Sazolie College, Jotsoma has conducted Flash Mob and Street Play on HIV & STI Awareness on September 17 based on the theme" Culture For Care, Towards a Healthy Future." It was conducted at five locations namely, College Campus, Phezhu Junction, Jail Colony, P.R.Hill and PWD Junction, Kohima.
The purpose of the campaign was to enhance and promote awareness on HIV & STI among the general population with key aspects on prevention, routes of transmission, reducing stigma, diagnosis, treatment, inspiring care & compassion. The event witnessed the keen attention and support of the people. It was concluded successfully with words of encouragement from the audience, which has motivated students participation through which they can be agents towards a healthy future.
