The fourth phase of the seminar was held under the theme ‘Weaving Heritage: Propagating Sustainable Community Life in Harmonious Co-existence with Nature.’

Sponsored by the North Eastern Council (NEC) under the Ministry of DONER, the event was jointly organised by Gracious Society, Ahthibung, in collaboration with the Kuki Students' Organisation, Nagaland (KSON) and Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN).

The programme was inaugurated by L Singsit, IPS (Retd.), President of KIN, who emphasised the need for the younger generation to embrace their cultural roots while adapting responsibly to modern changes.

He also highlighted that the essence of Kuki tradition lies in the community’s deep respect for nature and collective living, a DIPR report stated.

The resource persons included Lensei Lotjem, Chairman of the Custom and Culture Board, KIN, David Hanneng, Assistant Professor at Burdwan University, and Hoineichin Singson, Founder of Gracious Society.
