Shalom Mission School holds teachers workshop

Teachers of Shalom Mission School, Doyapur after the workshop held on March 14.

Dimapur, March 14 (MExN): Shalom Mission School, Doyapur held a teachers workshop on March 14 at the School auditorium organized by the Managing Board, Shalom Mission School.

The purpose of the workshop was to update the teachers on the changes in education system, a press release from Sito Meru, OSD, SMS said.

 The Managing Board, Chairman Thejao Vihienuo encouraged the teachers to be equipped and refresh themselves to make teaching-learning more effective.

The first session was taken by Sibuile Department of Teacher Education, Nagaland University on the topic “Techniques for effective Teaching in School.”

The second session was taken by Dr Khotole Khieya, Department of Education, Nagaland University on the topic “Behaviourists and Constructionist approach to Classroom Management.”

The third session was taken by Professor Buno Liegise, Department of Education, Nagaland University on the topic “Developing Professionalism of Teachers in Schools: Ethics, Accountability and Attitude.”

The vote of thanks was pronounced by Sito Meru, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Shalom Mission School, Doyapur.
