Kohima, November 14 (MExN): Kohima Police on Friday said skeletal remains of an unidentified person were recovered in Botsa under the jurisdiction of Chiephobozou Police Station.
According to a press release from Kohima Police, the remains were found on November 14 and the deceased is estimated to have stood “at approximately 5 feet 3 to 4 inches (approx. 5.3 to 5.4 feet).”
Police stated that all required legal procedures have been completed and the skeletal remains are currently being kept at Chiephobozou Police Station pending identification.
The release requested the public, especially those with missing relatives or friends, to assist in identifying the deceased. “Any person possessing relevant information is urged to contact the Officer-in-Charge of Chiephobozou Police Station at 7085667549,” it said.
