Dimapur, November 28 (MExN): Three farmers and Officials of the Passion Fruit Farmers’ Association, Mokokchung district participated in the 31st India International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from the November 21 to 23, 2011at the invitation of Department of Agriculture & Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India. During the three days, the stall was visited many visitors including the Union Minister of Agriculture Sharad Pawar. The farmers also visited different pavilions of various states and Ministries and interacted with potential buyers. The trip was jointly sponsored by the State Nodal Office, ATMA and ATMA Mokokchung and the team was escorted by I. Lipokonen Jamir, Asst. Agronomist, Mokokchung.
