The 1st DCN (Dimapur, Chümoukedima, Niuland) Ao Open Badminton Tournament 2024, organized by Dimapur Ao Youth Organization, was held at Indoor Stadium, Multi Disciplinary Sports Complex, Dimapur on December 16 and 17. Special guest on the opening day was Dr Watizulu Suzumeren Jamir, Chairman, Development Authority of Nagaland (DAN), VP of Badminton Association of India, Senior VP, Nagaland Badminton Association. On the closing day, Dr Tinujungshi, Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur was the guest of honour.
