
Dimapur, November 6 (MExN): ICAR-NRC on Mithun organized three-day training for the administrative staffs of the ICAR Institutes of North-Eastern Region from November 3-5. The major objective of the training was to impart training on office correspondences, effective noting and drafting, reservation policy in ICAR and provisions under constitution of India, purchase procedures and E-procurement, informed a press release. A total of 16 participants from ICAR-Research Complex for NEH, Umiam Barapani, Meghalaya, ICAR-Research Complex for NEH, Nagaland Centre, KVK- Wokha, KVK- Phek, Porba, KVK- Dimapur and ICAR-NRC on Mithun participated. Kanhaiya Chaudhary, Director (Agri. Extension), ICAR, New Delhi and P.K. Bage, Deputy Secretary (HRM), ICAR, New Delhi were the resource persons. The participants were also exposed to team building exercises through various games, tutorial and stories to demonstrate team spirit at work place. Dr. Abhijit Mitra, Director, ICAR-NRC on Mithun thanked the nominating institutes for sponsoring their staffs to participate in the training. He further stressed the need of conducting trainings to the contractual staffs for effective and efficient administration.
