Tsiesema students popularize arboriculture

Kohima, May 23 (MExN): In order to popularize the arboriculture in the state, the Tsiesema Village Students’ Union with the support of the youth organization has conducted a massive tree plantation at the newly constructed road from Peducha NH-39 to Tsiesema NH-2 on May 21 last.
The Union appealed to all the concern to cooperate in protecting the newly planted trees.
Meanwhile, the Union appreciated the government for bringing developmental activities in the state, particularly giving more emphasis to this road as this road may serves as the ultimate connection to the state capital. The Union stated that many travelers are using this road without passing through the state capital thereby reduces traffic volume. The Union also acknowledged the Executive Engineer and technical staff of Chiephobozou construction division for their dedication and valuable advices “as this kind of arboriculture not only beautify the road but provides safety and maintain stability of the soil.” This was stated in a release issued by TSU president Savilie Yhor and TVYO president
