Kohima, October 23 (MExN): The Tenyimi Union Nagaland (TUN), headquartered in Kohima, has appealed for peace, understanding, and reconciliation among various communities in Manipur, emphasizing that peace is the foundation of harmonious societies and unity is the strength of the people.

The union urged all parties to move towards the path of dialogue, mutual respect, forgiveness, and peaceful coexistence.
"May the spirit of brotherhood overcome bitterness, may dialogue replace violence, and may lasting peace return to Manipur," the statement read. TUN specifically appealed to leaders, elders, civil society organizations, youth, and all right-thinking citizens to work together to restore peace and build mutual understanding, reminding stakeholders that every human life is precious and every community deserves dignity, security, and respect.
The union called upon the public to join hands for a peaceful future for present and coming generations, concluding with the appeal: "Let peace prevail, let Humanity Triumph. Let Manipur live in peace".
