DIMAPUR, JANUARY 16 (MExN): Hurricane CC will face off Thahekhu Knight XI in the final of the 5th Unity T-20 Cup after winning their respective semi final matches.
Hurricane CC won their semi final match by 123 runs against Bonafide CC.
Hurricane CC batted first and scored 185 runs in 20 overs. Ajay Singh was the highest scorer with 52 runs. Chasing the target Bonafide CC lost the match by 124 runs scoring 62 runs in 20 overs.
Ajay Singh of Hurricane CC was adjudged as Man of the match for his 52 runs knock.
The semifinal match was graced by David, entrepreneur of Chümoukedima Town as match patron.
In the second semi final, Thahekhu knight XI defeated Whiskers CC by 52 runs.
Thahekhu batted first and scored 146 runs in 20 overs. Abura was the highest scorer with 41 runs. Chasing the target Whiskers CC lost scoring only 95 runs in 20 Overs.
Nagaho of Knight XI Thahekhu was adjudged as Man of the match for his 24 runs knock and crucial 3 wickets.
The semifinal match was graced by Shiva Gurung Entrepreneur of Chümoukedima Town as match patron.
The final match will be played on January 17 at 10:00am.
