Venuzo Vadeo is Secheku wrestling champ

Venuzo Vadeo today emerged the champion title of 27th wrestling meet of Secheku Wrestling Association (SWA) held at Tsiipfume village under Phek district.

Winning the coveted champion title, Veniizo received a cash prize of Rs. 80,000.

Boduve D. Vadeo, Niekhozo Keroh and Kukuo Getsa stood 2nd, 3rd and 4th position and awarded with Rs. 50,000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 30,000 respectively.

Under16 category, Kuvenu Puro stood Ist position while Vesaku Vadeo, Shetsu Therie and Eneiku Naro stood 2nd, 3rd and 4th position respectively.

They carried a cash prize of Rs. 15,000, Rs. 10,000, Rs. 7000 and Rs. 5000 respectively.

Zaveyi Kezo, spokesperson BJP Nagaland graced the inaugural function as the special guest.

Earlier, SWA president Vezohii Riiho delivered welcome address while the inaugural function was chaired by SWA general secretary Kiihiisheyi D. Vadeo.

SWA technical secretary Tewetso Tsuha administered oath to the wrestlers.
