Vepoto Keyho wins 60th Sukrünye wrestling meet

Kohima, January 29 (MExN): The 60th Sukrünye Wrestling Meet of Khulazu Basa Youth Organisation was held today at Khulazu Basa under Phek district.

Vepoto Keyho of Celumi Club emerged as the champion and walked away with Rs. 11,000.

Cüsavoyi Chüzho and Zhoposa Keyho stood second and third position respectively.

Under junior category, Phisato Chüzho emerged as winner while Verizo Chüzho came in second place.

Altogether, 85 wrestlers joined the meet.

Tsosayi Chüzho, agriculture inspector, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Office, Chozuba graced the occasion as the special guest.

In his address, Chiizho urged youngsters to preserve culture and traditional games.
