“Democracy helps people to become greedy” do some people tell you? “By Democratic system of government, people obtain more than their fair share of the necessary things for living. Some people become richer and poor people become poorer”.
You may have heard other people say “under the democratic system of government, everyone could have a job of work to do and something to eat and to each his own”
“Nations need to face the need for the Democratic system of government to change” do you say?” People in developing countries need to face the truth about the failure of the Democratic system of government to produce a fair system of government.
You may hear people say, “We need a fair system of government so that people that do more, or better work than other people, obtain more money for their work”.
Do those people add, “No one should fail to obtain enough food to eat, and a house to live in. we should make it possible for everyone to obtain a job of work to do that should satisfy them”.
We agree, “People should be helped to start new business to make new things so that more people can obtain a job of work to do. People that make jobs of work for other people to do, should be able to receive more money for themselves for doing this”.
However, let us be quite clear in our thinking about the way everyone is born into this world. You should know we are all born with a wrong selfish spirit that controls our desires.
But did you know that every day more people escape from this control of these desires. These people can tell you, “We escaped from the wrong selfish spirit with which we were born. God gave us his spirit to control our desires. Now we enjoy everything we do. We live to help other people with their problems and vice-versa”.
“Everyone in this country should accept my religion” do some people say to you? Do they also add, “Our religion is the true religion”. Do they tell you, “If people do not accept our religion they should not be allowed to live in our country”.
We ask people that speak like that, “What has your religion done for you? Is your religion helping everyone in your country to obtain what they need? Does it help people escape from the control of the selfish spirit with which we are all born?”
Can people say, “The selfish spirit that caused me so much trouble in my life, no longer controls my desires. I have obtained the control of God’s ‘self for others’ spirit. God’s spirit helps me to make wise choices”.
You should know, everyday, more people can say this. They say “I spoke to God. I thanked God for sending Jesus Christ to die for my sins. God forgave my wrong doing and gave me his spirit”.
Every country or society needs more people, people that have escaped from the control of selfish desires.
You should agree, your country needs more people that do not desire more than their fair share of the necessary things for living.
